I’m a freelance scenographer and costume designer working across theater, dance, and film productions. My experience spans IDFA-premiered documentary-fiction (Metamorfose – dir. Pim Zwier), short films, large-scale stage productions (POPulisme – Het Filiaal theater company) and dance productions (several projects with De Stilte dance company). Flexible, fast, and collaborative, I fit seamlessly into diverse teams and genres, from indie shorts to larger-scale productions.
Each project demands its own visual language, and I adapt my approach to serve the director’s vision, the story, and the performer. For me, costume design is never just about creating beautiful garments — it’s about making the actor feel absolutely right in their role, and scenography is about shaping a space that belongs entirely to the world of the piece.
This adaptability allows me to integrate smoothly into different teams, genres. My goal is always the same: to create visual worlds that deepen the audience’s connection to the story.
