In Lost Seasons geeft elucian een nieuwe interpretatie aan Vivaldi’s De Vier Jaargetijden, met soloviool, elektronica en live looping. Bekende muzikale fragmenten worden in realtime getransformeerd en opnieuw opgebouwd tot een orkestrale klankwereld, die volledig live ontstaat vanuit één enkel instrument.
Verweven met poëtische teksten beweegt de voorstelling zich tussen klassieke traditie en hedendaagse klanken. Zo ontvouwt zich een diep persoonlijke reis langs onzekerheid, verlies en vernieuwing.
Lost Seasons is gecreëerd en wordt uitgevoerd door de Schots-Zweedse violist Ian Peaston, die optreedt onder de naam elucian.

VERHUURCONCERT
In Splendor hoor je de 55 musici die aan Splendor verbonden zijn, en de gasten die zij uitnodigen. Dat zie je terug in de titel, bijvoorbeeld: ‘Felix Schlarmann presenteert…’ of ‘Splendor presenteert…’.
Maar Splendor is er ook voor musici van buiten. Zij kunnen onze ruimtes huren voor hun concerten, releases, try-outs. Dit concert is zo’n verhuurconcert: een optreden van externe musici, georganiseerd op eigen initiatief.

Lost Seasons by elucian reimagines Vivaldi’s Four Seasons through solo violin, electronics and live looping. Familiar musical fragments are transformed and rebuilt in real time into an evolv-ing orchestral soundscape, created entirely live from a single instrument.
Interwoven with poetic prose, the performance moves between classical tradition and contem-porary sound, tracing a deeply personal journey through uncertainty, loss and renewal.

VENUE RENTAL CONCERT
At Splendor, you can hear the 55 musicians who are part of Splendor, as well as the guests they invite. This is reflected in the title, for example: ‘Felix Schlarmann presents…’ or ‘Splendor presents…’.
But Splendor is also a space for musicians from outside our community. They can rent our spaces for concerts, releases, try-outs, and other events. This concert is one such venue rental: a performance by external musicians, organised on their own initiative.
