Kalponik Rekha x Chinabot

The tenth edition of Kalponik Rekha, in collaboration with UK-based label Chinabot, presents works by two4.41139, Leng Seong, Bass Boss (DJ Khabir), and improvisational performances featuring Jiyoung Wi and Cavid Dhen.
A member of Worm Sound Studio, founder of Kalponik Rekha, and part of Chinabot Asia,
two4.41139 (voice, guitar, arp2600) will present an electro-acoustic live improvisational
performance from her unreleased project with Chinabot, featuring Jiyoung Wi (violin) and Cavid Dhen (flute). Fellow Chinabot Asia artist Leng Seong recently released his debut album Gweilo, partially inspired by the Malaysian folktale Sang Kancil and manifests in 808s, Chinese choir samples, anime-inspired chants, and indecipherable vocals. Closing the evening, legendary artist Bass Boss (DJ Khabir) introduces the audience to Dek Bass, a high-decibel, low-frequency sound system culture rooted in powerful bass, custom-built sound systems, and immersive listening experiences.
